After 346 people died in 2018 and 2019, it again made headlines in January after an Alaska Airlines jet lost a door plug in midair.</p><p>Yet while it is outsold by the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/airbus-struggling-outsider-beating-boeing-737-max-a320neo-2024-1">Airbus A320neo</a>, the 737 Max still remains popular with customers. That doesn't just mean commercial operators, though, as it can also be turned into a private jet.</p><p><a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/boeing-bbj-max-7-private-jet-new-cabin-designs-2023-10">Boeing Business Jets offers the 737 Max</a> for an average price of $110 million, according to <a target="_blank" href="https://simpleflying.com/most-expensive-boeing-business-jets/">Simple Flying</a>.</p><p>The first one was delivered in 2018, and this jet was on display at EBACE, Europe's largest business aviation conference, in May.</p><p>Having your own airliner comes with a lot more space than a purpose-built business jet. The $75 million <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/see-inside-dassault-falcon-10x-private-jet-2023-6">Dassault Falcon 10X</a> might have a bedroom and a shower, but this 737 Max has two of each plus a huge cabin.</p>
