Camp Margaritaville RV Resort and Lodge Pigeon Forge in Tennessee celebrated its grand opening in September as the Jimmy Buffett-branded hospitality giant continues to expand its RV resorts arm.

Camp Margaritaville may be known for its fully equipped RV parks with amenities like playgrounds, multiple pools, and bars (it is Margaritaville after all) …

… but you don't have to be a #VanLifer or Class A RV owner to visit the new 35-acre Camp Margaritaville in hot tourist destination Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Margaritaville currently operates three RV parks all with non-RV accommodations like tiny cabins and "glamping" cottages.

But Pigeon Forge stands out with the Lodge, a large hotel with a colorful and paradoxically tropical mountainside cabin aesthetic.

Inside, there are the traditional one to two-bed rooms.

But so far, guests have been loving the "deluxe room," which combines elements of luxury camping with a traditional hotel stay for about $160 to $500-per-night.

A $500-per-night room may seem like a hefty price for a Margaritaville property.

After all, a two-night Margaritaville at Sea cruise starts as low as $100 per person.

But for guests traveling with a large family, the deluxe room may be one of the most economical (and fun) options.

The 500 to 570-square-foot deluxe room can sleep up to six people.

But unlike an average Hilton or Marriott, staying at a Margaritaville hotel is like being immersed into the tropical and relaxing lifestyle Jimmy Buffett croons about.

The lyrics printed on the decorative pillows and painted on the wall above the bed pay homage to Buffett's discography.

And the blue shower, walls, and decorate accents passively evoke the ocean.

And it's these "tents" that have made the deluxe rooms the most popular option for Camp Margaritaville Pigeon Forge guests with children.

They're always the first rooms to get booked out in the Lodge, Andy Hime, the property's general manager, told Insider …

… although Camp Margaritaville Pigeon Forge is generally seeing strong bookings for all its accommodations.

During peak Pigeon Forge tourism season, the property is booked out almost every day of the week, according to Hime.

And during the slower and colder winter months, Camp Margaritaville Pigeon Forge is still fairly busy, although it should be noted that the Lodge didn't open until the summer of 2022.
