Revlon's volcanic rock face roller absorbs oil without ruining makeup
- The Revlon Oil-Absorbing Volcanic Roller is supposed to remove excess facial oil and shine.
- It's meant to be less wasteful than blotting paper since you can wash and reuse it.
- Caroline Aghajanian tests the roller to see how well it absorbs oil without ruining her makeup.
Following is a transcript of the video.
Caroline Aghajanian: This is the Revlon oil-absorbing volcanic rock, and I've seen this all over TikTok, and I wanted to see if it actually works. It has one claim, which is to remove the oil on your face without ruining your makeup.
The texture is quite chalky, and it moves around really easily. Oh. This side is definitely a lot less oily now than this side. There's quite a bit of makeup on the rock itself, and it's a little bit greasier instead of chalkier than what it was before, so I know it definitely removed the oil, and it did remove some makeup, but it didn't ruin the makeup on my face.
The face roller is made out of real volcanic stone, and it's meant to be less wasteful than blotting paper since it's washable and reusable. So, to clean, you unlock and pull out the stone, wash with a gentle cleanser, rinse, air-dry, then place back in.
