Britain's Post Office Travel Money has released its annual City Costs Barometer for 2020, and it shows the cheapest European cities to visit right now.
The ranking was compiled by adding up the average costs of travel essentials, such as a sightseeing bus tour, a bottle of beer, a three-course dinner, and two nights at a three-star accommodation, across 27 cities, all of which are on the UK government's quarantine exemption list as of August 20.
The report shows that prices are as much as 26% lower than a year ago, and have also dropped by up to 26% compared to pre-lockdown levels in early March.
Vilnius in Lithuania takes the top spot, while other Eastern European cities dominate the list.
Here are the 20 cheapest European cities for a holiday right now, ranked in ascending order by total cost.
