Porsche created a mobile electric vehicle charging truck that can recharge 10 Taycans at once.
The Taycan — which starts at $103,800 — is the German automaker's flagship, first fully electric sports car with features and specs that aren't found in other electric vehicles on the market.
With the introduction of a hallmark car comes driving events and Porsche's "customer driving programs," which the Taycan has now become an "integral" component of, according to the automaker. However, several of these events have been held in locations that don't have a strong enough infrastructure to support the quick recharge of several electric sports cars at once.
As a result, the automaker, in partnership with Ads-Tec — a German hardware and software creator that specializes in "industrial" use — has developed a mobile charging unit that can repower several Taycans at once.
