A six-story townhouse in the affluent Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan was listed for sale this week with a price tag of $27.5 million.

The 12,000-square-foot home boasts seven bedrooms, 10 total bathrooms, several outdoor spaces, and a rather famous history.

As movie buffs may recognize, the townhouse was home to fictional boss Miranda Priestly in "The Devil Wears Prada." The role was played by Academy Award-winning actor Meryl Streep in the 2006 film.

The listing included photos of the iconic staircase where protagonist Andy Sachs — played by Anne Hathaway — was tasked with dropping off "the book" at Priestly's home.

The townhouse was originally built in 1907 and renovated in 2005, just one year before "The Devil Wears Prada" was released. The home is described as "Neo-Italian Renaissance-style" in the Coldwell Banker listing.

While the limestone townhouse's interior is mostly white, there are several blue accents throughout the home. The features are reminiscent of Andy and Priestly's cerulean sweater scene in the movie.

The next owner of the East 73rd Street home will have more than just a famous history to boast about. They'll also have famous neighbors — like Gloria Steinem, who lives across the street, according to New York Magazine.
