Martha Stewart is living the luxury quarantine life the rest of us can only dream of

If her Instagram feed is any indication, Martha Stewart is living an envious life in quarantine.
The home decor maven, age 78, recently posted a sexy pool selfie from her Hamptons home that caused a serious stir on the internet.
But she's mainly been riding out the pandemic at her Bedford estate, where she's been playing card games and cooking for her quarantined staff.

Baking cakes, sitting poolside, riding horses: That's the fabulous life of Martha Stewart, who is having a much more luxurious quarantine than the rest of us.

Stewart, age 78, was riding out the pandemic at her Bedford farm estate in New York before heading to her home in the Hamptons this summer. But no matter where she is, it looks like she's having a ball.

The lifestyle expert recently posted a pool selfie that quickly began trending on social media, which some dubbed a "thirst trap."

A quick scroll through Stewart's Instagram shows that she's still living her best life and a quarantine we're all dreaming of — and looks good doing it. Stewart did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment for this story.

Stewart has been riding out the pandemic in her Bedford farm estate, a 150-acre compound.

She's been keeping company with her quarantined staff. Her driver, gardener, and housekeeper are all staying at separate residences on the property.

Like the rest of us, Stewart has been working from home. That means Zoom media appearances and virtual commencement speeches like the one she gave for Barnard with Snoop Dogg and Michelle Obama.

And, in true Stewart fashion, working means spending some time in the kitchen. Yeast cakes, galore!

But what's a meal — or quarantine — without a drink? Stewart can frequently been seen whipping up fancy cocktails.

Or popping bottles of Dom Pérignon Champagne.

Ever the gardener, Stewart spends most of her time exercising her green thumb. She partnered with HGTV to share her home quarantine projects.

Stewart has also found plenty of time to soak up the outdoors recreationally, like riding her horse among the elms and chestnut trees on her farm ...

... or riding her turquoise bike around the estate in a fashionable helmet hat.

Stewart recently made her way out east to her Hamptons home for a summer vacation.

It's the perfect backdrop for a pool selfie. If anyone's doing quarantine right, it's Stewart.
