I've sailed with multiple cruise lines over the last 12 years, but one thing I'll never compromise on is booking a veranda cabin.
I love being able to enjoy my coffee on the little deck in the morning while the rest of my family gets ready, and it's just nice to have outdoor space that isn't overflowing with other guests.
When my parents and I sailed on the Disney Magic for five nights in 2022, the three of us booked a deluxe stateroom with a veranda for about $3,500.
Comparable inside cabins — without ocean views, verandas, or port holes — typically run closer to $2,500. But we thought the outdoor space would be worth the higher price tag.
Here's a look inside our stateroom.
