"League of Legends" girl group K/DA is back with a new pre-release single titled "The Baddest," an energentic, confident track sung in both Korean and English.
The group, which first debuted in 2018, is comprised of "League of Legends" champions Akali, Ahri, Evelynn, and Kai'Sa.
K/DA first announced that it would release new music on Aug. 20, and has been teasing "The Baddest" with individual member teasers featuring slick new looks for each of the champions.
"The Baddest" features the voices of Soyeon and Miyeon of (G)I-DLE, as well as Wolftyla and Bea Miller.
In a press release, Riot Games announced that K/DA will release their debut EP later this year. The group is centered on the champions themselves rather than the artists that lend their voices to them, and the upcoming EP will feature a variety of musicians to be announced at a later date.
K/DA debuted in 2018 with their explosive single "POP/STARS," which featured the voices of Soyeon and Miyeon from (G)I-DLE as well as Madison Beer and Jaira Burns. In the years since, the music video for "POP/STARS" has amassed over 360 million views.
