JoJo Siwa completely changed her look by dyeing her hair dark brown
- JoJo Siwa has ditched her signature blonde hair for a deeper brown shade.
- The YouTuber and Nickelodeon star revealed her new hair color in TikTok and Instagram videos posted on Saturday.
- Siwa also showed off her natural waves in the videos.
YouTuber and Nickelodeon star JoJo Siwa has ditched her famous blonde hair.
In a TikTok video posted on Saturday, Siwa danced to Miley Cyrus' 2010 single "Can't Be Tamed." Though she started the video with her blonde hair up in a ponytail with a pink bow attached, she revealed her new brown shade by the end of the clip.
Rather than writing a caption for the video, Siwa simply added: ".........."
In a similar video on Instagram, Siwa first showed herself with her signature style before leaving the frame. She then came back with brown hair worn in loose waves.

Abby Lee Miller, who previously starred on "Dance Moms" with Siwa, wrote underneath the YouTuber's Instagram video: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA "
Colleen Ballinger, a YouTuber and friend of Siwa's, also commented, writing: "prettyyyyy! now we look like real life sisters YAAAAAS."
Siwa has been experimenting with her signature hairstyle more frequently in recent months
In April, for example, Siwa showed off her natural waves as part of a TikTok challenge, in which she said she'd do "whatever the top comment says" so long as she hit 19 million followers on the platform within 24 hours.
Though she didn't reach that number immediately, Siwa still followed through with her promise. The next day, she shared another TikTok video in which she "dressed normal for a day," as the top comment suggested. To do so, Siwa ditched her signature hairstyle and rainbow-colored clothes for natural waves and a black outfit.
A few days later, Siwa commented on her changing appearance, and said that she had no plans to completely alter her look.
"Recently I've shown myself looking different," Siwa wrote at the time. "Not the classic rainbow, sparkles, and side ponytail with a JoJo bow. I've been hated on for YEARS for dressing 'young' and 'childish' — people think this is me 'changing.' LOL nope!!! I just love who I am! This is just me at night or in the morning!"
Representatives for JoJo Siwa did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
