JetBlue Airways is introducing a new loyalty program for its members to earn more perks like free alcoholic drinks and early boarding, it announced Wednesday.

The airline is expanding its TrueBlue loyalty program with the launch of two new features — "tiles," and Perks You Pick — which reward dedicated members with benefits both in air and on the ground as they work their way towards Mosaic status — the highest level of its TrueBlue membership.

Members are rewarded with tiles for every $100 in purchases across JetBlue's brands and partners including American Airlines flights.

Once members have earned 10 tiles, they can pick perks including early boarding, priority security which gives members access to a faster lane to security at several airports, and a free alcoholic beverage like beer, wine, or liquor among other rewards.

Mosaic status is reserved for those who earn 50 tiles with added benefits like the first two checked bags free, same-day flight switches, and a readily available support line with priority chat assistance.

JetBlue did not immediately respond to Insider's request for further comment about the new program.

The airline recently won top spot for its first and business-class cabins in an annual customer satisfaction survey by data analytics company J.D. Power.
