Emily Hart</p><ul class="summary-list"><li>When considering iconic US landscapes, many people envision the most-visited major <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/most-beautiful-us-national-parks-according-to-frequent-traveler-2024-3">national parks</a>.</li><li>As someone who has visited all 10 of them, they're all worth seeing — but I still have my favorites.</li></ul><p>After visiting 59 of the 63 major United States national parks, it's easy to see how each earned the prestigious designation — which makes picking favorites feel wrong. <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/best-unique-national-parks-in-us-according-to-frequent-traveler">Each park is unique</a> in its own way, with incredible diversity and sights that are well worth visiting.</p><p>The top <a target="_blank" class href="https://irma.nps.gov/Stats/SSRSReports/National%20Reports/Annual%20Park%20Ranking%20Report%20(1979%20-%20Last%20Calendar%20Year)">10 most-visited national parks</a> are no exception. These parks, which saw visitation between about 2.5 million and over 13 million people in 2023, are likely what most people envision when they think of a US national park.</p><p>With <a target="_blank" href="https://www.nps.gov/orgs/1207/hidden-gems-off-season-trips-highlights-of-325-5-million-national-park-visits-in-2023.htm">national park visitation on the rise</a>, I'm often asked which of the most-popular parks are my favorites. Although I enjoyed my time in all of the most-visited parks, there are some I'd visit again over others. Here's how I'd rank them.</p>
