Although I've found incredible beauty in each park, I find myself continually going back to some, while others I'm happy to have seen once.</p><p>The <a target="_blank" class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/best-us-national-parks-according-to-frequent-solo-traveler-2023-11">parks I keep returning to</a> are varied and more generally accessible, meaning I can visit more often with less expense and a shorter planning period.</p><p>On the other hand, the <a target="_blank" class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/overrated-us-national-parks-according-to-frequent-traveler-2024-3">parks I'm glad to have only seen once</a> are likely some of the most impressive parks of all — but they're more challenging to get to logistically and financially. </p><p>Here are the three parks I love returning to, and the three I'm glad I've checked off my list.</p>
