- My favorite tourist attraction in Dubai was the water park.
- One day cost about $175, including a day pass, lunch, and a waterproof pouch for my iPhone.
I spent two weeks in Dubai reporting on the UN climate conference for Business Insider, but I still had time for some sightseeing.
It was hard to choose because the city has a lot of famous attractions, including the world's largest mall, flower garden, and picture frame, plus the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper.
I love an adrenaline rush and the beach, so I visited the world's largest water park, Aquaventure, with other reporters.
We went on a weekday, so the lines weren't long. The park has a nearly 60-foot plunge for thrill seekers like me, plus lazy rivers and a beautiful beach for those who want to relax. There are three towers and at least 50 water slides. If you want to visit them all, prepare to walk up a lot of stairs.
