But to throw her boss off her trail while requesting time off, she tells the office she's actually going to Kraków.</p><p>Sylvie, Emily's chic boss, is immediately dismissive of the <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/why-poland-should-be-next-europe-trip-destination-2023-11">Polish city</a>. In fact, only quirky Luc (who's typically the butt of the joke) seems to see the city as a destination. </p><p>But this summer, my <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/things-to-know-visiting-rome-busy-season-first-time-tips">family traveled to Rome</a> and Kraków, and I think Emily made the wrong choice between the two. </p>
