<p class="ingestion featured-caption">I spent almost eight hours in British Airways' business-class Club Suite.Hayley Domin</p><ul class="summary-list"><li>I flew in <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/british-airways-vs-virgin-atlantic-nyc-london-compared-2024-9">British Airways</a>' business-class Club Suite for a long-haul flight for the first time.</li><li>My seat felt incredibly private, had direct aisle access, and plenty of legroom.</li></ul><p>I've flown <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/what-its-like-flying-long-flight-in-world-business-class-2019-12">business class</a> with a few airlines, but I recently did so for the first time with British Airways.</p><p>I booked a <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/british-airways-club-suite-business-class-london-nyc-review-photos-2024-3">Club Suite</a> in its long-haul business-class cabin, Club World, for my almost-eight-hour flight from Heathrow in London to Logan International in Boston.</p><p>The Club Suite debuted in 2019 as part of the airline's almost <a target="_blank" rel href="https://www.businessinsider.com/photos-british-airways-9-billion-transformation-with-new-seats-2024-3"><u>$9 billion investment</u></a> in upgrading its passenger experience. The suites aren't on every British Airways flight, though the carrier plans to have them on all of its Heathrow-based long-haul aircraft by the end of 2026.</p><p>The business-class suite cost $5,700 — more than double what a seat in economy was going for at the time I booked. Here's why the upgrade was worth it. </p>
