Have you ever dreamed of spending the fall and winter months at Hogwarts?

If so, TikTokers might have a solution for you.

For months, "Harry Potter" fans on the social-media platform have been decorating their living spaces with DIY decorations that resemble thunderclouds and floating candles seen throughout the film franchise.

And as many have pointed out, the interior-design trend is perfect for Halloween.

As of Wednesday, a search for "Harry Potter ceiling" on TikTok resulted in dozens of videos with a collective 52.7 million views. Many of those clips are from people who have tried their hand at making the decoration, like Gatane Muslimani.

Muslimani, a 36-year-old "Harry Potter" fan from Sterling, Virginia, said she started planning her "Harry Potter" ceiling last winter and finally crafted the piece for Halloween this year.

"'Harry Potter' was the first book series I read starting more than 20 years ago and it sparked my love of reading, so it's always had a special place for me," she said. "I'm reading the books with my sons and we watch the movie series every year from the end of October up to Christmas."

She created her "Harry Potter" ceiling using small items she bought on Amazon and installed it above her kitchen island.

While there are various ways to create the decoration, as seen on TikTok, Muslimani said there are a few basic items you'll need to work with: LED strip lights, loop ties, Poly-fil, spray adhesive, poster board, and something to stick the decoration to the ceiling.

"I used duct tape, but that's because I was too impatient to get anything else and I already had it," she said. "Command Strips or tacks would probably work best."

And of course, you'll need pre-made "floating" candles — a popular decoration you can find from retailers like Amazon and Party City.

Muslimani has shared a more in-depth tutorial for making the craft on her TikTok page.

"My biggest tip would be to not overthink it," she said. "You can make the clouds as fluffy or dense as you want. There's no right or wrong way to zigzag the lights or place the candles. You can put it together and hang it up, or put it together on the ceiling. Just do what works best for you!"
