Everlane has a ton of great face masks in solid colors and fun prints — plus every purchase benefits the ACLU

Everlane is one of the many retailers making cloth face masks for the public.

The company currently has six options for reusable, non-medical grade face masks. Each is made from a double-layer knit fabric and has cotton-Lycra ear loops, and range from tie-dye, stripes, and floral prints to basics like all-black and assorted neutrals. You can shop the masks in two-packs ($15), three-packs ($18), and five-packs ($25). There's also a kids' face mask pack available, but we recommend reading this article about guidelines for purchasing masks for children before you make any decisions.

For every 100% Human Face Mask pack sold (which includes all of the options), Everlane says it will donate 10% of sales to the ACLU.

Like nearly all mask purchases, you won't be able to return or exchange these, and there's also a limit of five purchases per person.

Before wearing, you'll want to wash your face masks — and after every wear thereafter. You'll also want to wash your hands before and after you put it on or take it off. For more on mask dos and don'ts, refer to the CDC's recommendations. And it's important to note that cloth face coverings don't replace other CDC guidelines; it's still essential to maintain six feet of social distancing and wash your hands frequently.
