Disney's Star Wars hotel will start taking reservations soon to take guests to a galaxy far, far away.

The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will accept general bookings starting on October 28, according to its website. People can stay at the hotel beginning on March 1, 2022.

A stay at the hotel is billed as an immersive experience where guests can pick and choose what Star Wars-themed activities they want to do. Options include things like taking a light saber training, playing in a Sabacc tournament, competing in a droid racing competition, and more.

Each package comes with a two-night stay in the Galactic Starcruiser and admission to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, as well as other areas of Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida.

To prepare to make a booking, Disney says guests should have the follow information ready:

  • Your preferred dates for the trip, including alternate dates since availability may be limited
  • The number of people in your party, as well as their names, ages, addresses, and phone numbers
  • Your preference for the first or second dinner seating
  • Extra activities you'd like to add to your itinerary
  • Your preferred dates for any desired Disney Resort hotel reservations before or after your Star Wars hotel stay

Based on previously released pricing models, the cheapest available package will still run you $4,809 for two nights. This package accommodates two guests in a standard cabin, the cheapest of the hotel's three types of rooms. Two adults and one child staying in a standard cabin can expect to pay $5,299 for their trip. Three adults and one child rooming in a standard cabin will be billed $5,999 for their stay.

All stays are two days long, and any guest staying alone will still be charged the same price of two guests staying in a room, according to the hotel's FAQ.

The website's FAQ also makes very clear for anyone thrown off by the astronomical price tag that no, the journey won't actually take you to space. That would cost you much more; on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic, reservations for suborbital tours cost $250,000 per ticket. Elon Musk's SpaceX and Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin haven't announced individual ticket prices for future space excursions.
