Model Barbara Palvin and actor Dylan Sprouse got married in the Hungarian countryside on Saturday.

A Vogue report from Tuesday shared photos of the wedding, along with details about the event. Palvin, 29, and Dylan, 30, also posted a series of images from the day on Instagram. And a video of Palvin and Dylan exiting their ceremony while guests threw confetti at them was shared to British Vogue's Instagram account on Wednesday.

The ceremony took place at a church in Albertirsa, a town that's just under an hour's drive southeast of Budapest, followed by a civil ceremony and reception at Harlekin Birtok, a property owned by Palvin's parents that doubles as a wedding venue, Vogue reported.

Photos of the ceremony were shared by the Twitter account @ViralMaterialz on Monday.

Palvin wore a floor-length, off-white gown with a corset bodice and thin straps by Vivienne Westwood for the occasion, according to Vogue.

The bride wore her hair down with some strands clipped back, and accessorized her minimalist look with a veil and '90s inspired choker necklace by Tiffany & Co., the publication added.

Palvin's wedding shoes had a special meaning. The model's heels were designed by Jimmy Choo and were embroidered with "D Heart B" on one sole and the couple's wedding date on the other, Vogue reported.

Meanwhile, Dylan wore a black suit and tie by Armani and a brooch by Tiffany & Co., Palvin's stylist Marc Eram wrote in an Instagram post.

"I just wanted a very traditional tuxedo," Dylan told Vogue. "And I made sure to shave."

Representatives for Barbara Palvin and Marc Eram did not respond to Insider's request for comment. Insider could not reach representatives for Dylan Sprouse.

Palvin honored Hungarian tradition by changing into a red dress

Palvin made two outfit changes for her wedding reception. Her second wedding dress, a custom-made Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini gown, had thin straps and a crisscross back and made Palvin feel like a "modern princess," she told Vogue.

She accessorized by adding a bow to her hair.

The model's third and final outfit was designed by Mero to honor the Hungarian tradition of the bride wearing a red dress after midnight, Palvin told the publication.

"There was no question — I had to wear a Hungarian designer for this one, so I chose Mero. They created the dress of my dreams. It was sexy and sweet but also comfortable — exactly what I wanted," Palvin told Vogue.

"According to the Hungarian tradition, I have to change my wedding dress at midnight because I'm not a bride anymore but a wife," Palvin was quoted saying in the caption of a photo published by Vogue, that showed her dancing with Dylan while wearing the gown.

Vogue reported that the wedding was attended by 115 guests. Dylan's twin brother and "Riverdale" actor Cole Sprouse can be seen in several photos from the event, which the couple told Vogue included a number of Hungarian traditions, including Hungarian music and wedding games.

During an interview for V Magazine in June, the couple told Cole about one tradition that involves the groomsmen "kidnapping" the bride on the wedding night. The tradition involves the bridesmaids making the groom complete a number of "silly" challenges (examples could be dancing or beatboxing) to win the bride back, Palvin said.

The couple confirmed to Vogue that they plan to have a second wedding in the US at an undisclosed date.

"It's gonna take some time for me to get used to being called Mrs. Sprouse," Palvin told Vogue.

"Dylan's been calling me his wife for three years now, so there's not a lot of adjusting on his end," she added. "We're excited to go back to LA to our pets and rest a bit — before we start planning the American wedding."

Correction — July 19, 2023: An earlier version of this story misstated the location of Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse's wedding in Hungary; they married in the countryside near Budapest, not in the Hungarian capital.
