- Travel influencer Brian Luebben shared the voice notes he received from his Airbnb host in Brazil.

A travel influencer received some hilarious voice notes from his Airbnb host, warning him that monkeys could break into the house if he didn't shut the windows properly, seeking bananas.
Brian Luebben, who left his corporate life to travel the world, was staying in Florianópolis, or "Floripa," in Brazil. On one day of his trip, he received some voice notes from his Airbnb host.
The host informed Luebben he was entering the property because the windows had been left open. He had heard the monkeys making a "big noise" in the house, he said.
The host seemed familiar with the individual monkeys and their behavior. The biggest of the monkeys, the host explained, was able to open the window even if it was shut because he had worked out how to use the handle.
"When you have bananas, no problem," he explained further. "When you don't have bananas, sometimes they open the refrigerator."

Luebben then showed some footage of what appears to be a capuchin monkey, which are common in the region, outside the home, peering through the window.
Luebben named the monkey "Kevin" and opened the door, but it then ran away.
"Look at this dude," he said, as the monkey disappeared into the trees.
Capuchins are highly intelligent, and are thought to have learned to use tools thousands of years ago, according to some research.
They are also notorious mischief-makers and thieves. Last year, a small capuchin called Chico caused havoc in the Brazilian city of Corrente, the Daily Mail reported, wielding a knife, grabbing clothes, and stealing cookies from residents.
