A TikToker got hired to go on part of a 9-month-long cruise after he promised to find out all the 'hot goss' on board
  • A TikToker begged to be sent on the 9-month-long Royal Caribbean Ultimate World Cruise.
  • People have become obsessed with the cruise and all the drama supposedly happening on board.

TikTok is completely obsessed with the 9-month-long Royal Caribbean Ultimate World Cruise that set sail in December, and now they have an insider on board.

Passengers started documenting their time aboard immediately, showing off their cabins, and explaining some of the drama that was happening, including allegations of a "caste system" and cliques among guests.

TikToker Marc Sebastian posted a video on December 12, 2023 begging reality show producers to put a crew on the cruise.

"Put cameras on that god damn cruise," he said. "Put cameras on that ship right now."

He argued the footage would produce documentaries akin to "Bama Rush" and "Fyre Festival."

"There's going to be mutiny, there's going to be blood, someone is going overboard, I want to watch," he said. "Bravo, where are you? I need eyes."

He then offered: "Put me in."

"Put me on the cruise, I'll go," he said. "I will cause chaos, I will reek havoc, and I will film everything."

On December 28, 2023, Sebastian announced he would be boarding the cruise in Antarctica, and would make daily videos about everything he found out.

He said a "very unexpected and cool brand" had reached out to him and offered a partnership, where he would be on the cruise for 18 nights.

That brand was the publishing company Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster.

Sebastian's 18-night trip started over the weekend. He uploaded a review of his first day on Saturday.

He said he'd already made some friends, including a couple who invited him to sit with them at breakfast because he was eating alone.

Sebastian also reviewed the content available on the cabin's television, which included a "very well produced wash your hands song" and "telenovela-style advertisements."

Among Sebastian's other immediate thoughts on the cruise were complaints about the volume of the music.

"It's so overstimulating," he said. "Non-stop music being pumped into every room, every hall, every dining room you enter. I swear I sat on a chair and the music got louder."

He also took issue with the lighting, the artwork, and the lack of water bottles in his room.

"Yesterday I arrived to an empty mini-fridge, not a bottle of water in sight, babe," he said. "Call me crazy, but I do believe that for the price of a room guests should be able to stay hydrated at their own convenience."

Sebastian said people on the ship were giving him "dirty looks" because he had his phone out a lot.

"I promise I will give you that energy back ten-fold," he said.

On day two, Sebastian attended a vlogger meet-up aboard the ship, featuring "all the main characters of the cruise."

"I wish that they were kind of meaner so I would have more drama with them," he said. "But honestly, early days, so who knows."

He said he had interviewed Adita Larson, a fellow passenger on the cruise who has been thoroughly documenting her time aboard, including incidents such as flooding.

He promised to update his followers with the "tea" she had revealed to him in the next video, including details about how much the most expensive suite costs.

Prices for the full cruise started at $59,999 per person, with a junior suite setting passengers back $117,599, according to The Cut.

At the end of the video, Sebastian said he had gotten into a small disagreement with a "Pinnacle Club" member — guests who paid more for certain benefits.

The passenger "scolded" him for swearing, he said.

"Was I a little bit bitchy back to them? Yeah. But you're not my fucking mother, don't tell me how to speak," he said. "Yes, we were in a public space, around no children, and you're the one trying to overhear what we were talking about."

He added that the guest was wearing a Pinnacle gold name tag "to prove to exactly no-one how superior they are."

"I do have more Pinnacle tea where that came from," Sebastian said. "See you tomorrow."
