The Swedish company that claims to be the "Tesla of the seas" has launched what it describes as an "affordable" electric boat.

X Shore, based in Stockholm, is announcing the launch of X Shore 1 – a "completely silent" electric boat that has a single battery and starts at $100,000.
The boat, inspired by Swedish design, will come in three trim levels: Utility, Performance, and Premium.

X Shore's CEO Jenny Keisu said in a press release that the X Shore has a "remarkably low price point" to make electric boating competitive with those powered by fossil fuels.
The company aims to win a new generation of boat owners and show them that "electric boating is not just the future, but the present."
One of X Shore's other models is a $329,000 boat supposedly inspired by electric eels.
