The couple started renovating their home in May last year, and completed it in September. Wong estimates that they spent 75,000 Singapore dollars on the project, excluding white goods.

Designing and overseeing the renovation of the home wasn't easy, because the couple had some difficulties conveying their ideas to the contractors.
