  • The TikToker @Zillowtasrophes has ignited conversation over a garage conversion home listing.
  • The $699,900 property measures 4,000 square feet, comprising three beds and one bath.

A $699,900 garage that's been converted into a single-family residence in suburban Pennsylvania has confounded a corner of TikTok, where viewers convene to pore over unique and polarizing Zillow listings.

The property in question is located in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania, standing at 4,000 square feet and comprising three bedrooms and one bathroom, according to the listing.

The "loft-style" residence features "a large open space where you can dare to dream and put your creativity to work," according to the property description. The layout by the current owner features an office, two bedrooms, a massive living area, and dedicated spaces for both exercise equipment and laundry.

There is even space to park your car indoors, according to the listing, which suggests: "This property could be ideal for your in-home business."

In her video assessing the property, with 26,000 views, the TikToker @Zillowtastrophes, whose real name is Jessica More — and who's made a name by trawling Zillow for strange sales — noted the price seemed steep in light of its location.

She also pointed out various oddities, observing that the kitchen looked like an office break room — complete with restroom signs still affixed to the walls — and that the main living area was somewhat "chaotic," likening the massive, uncarpeted loft to a furniture store.

More also noted an errant outdoor grill in the living room next to an office chair, but was somewhat impressed by the laundry room, which comprised three industrial-looking machines. "You could definitely run your own profitable wash-dry-fold operation here," she quipped.

Most viewers weren't loving the sterile residence, while others expressed some degree of interest, but balked at the price.

"Definitely looks like corn is being produced here," one wrote. Another added: "It's like someone made a house in The Sims."

"I'm into this but for like 150k," another viewer countered. A fourth concurred: "I kinda love it tbh but that price is insane."
