In real life, it can be found at 2601 Lyon Street in San Francisco.
Located in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood, the neoclassical revival-style home was the spot of some iconic scenes.

The seller, the former CEO of Just Desserts Michael Mendes, purchased the home in 2009.

He told the Wall Street Journal that his daughter, who was 7 at the time of the purchase, was a fan of the movie.
"It was a bit unfortunate because we were trying to negotiate a good price," Mendes said.
Upon entering the house, there's a foyer with stairs leading to the second floor. To the right is a family room and to the left is an office.
