6 ways to make a Disney trip more affordable for families, according to travel experts

Insider reported in 2021 that the <a href="https://www.insider.com/disney-world-cost-breakdown-family-trip-2021-4#from-350-to-224-in-50-years-1" rel>average cost of a typical five-day trip to Disney World</a> for a family of four at the time was $6,033. <a href="https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/disney-raises-ticket-prices/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">CNN</a> reported in 2022 that while a one-day, one-park ticket was between $109 and $159, Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios anticipated to see more than a 12% increase by 2023.</p><p>A <a href="https://time2play.com/blog/is-disney-world-too-expensive/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2022 survey</a> of Walt Disney World fans conducted by gambling website time2play found that 92.6% of those surveyed believed the cost of a Disney vacation was too expensive for the average family. Another 48.3% said they postponed trips to Disney World because of price increases in recent years.</p><p>While the price may still not be economically feasible for some families, four travel experts told Insider there are ways to cut back on the cost of a Disney vacation.</p><p>Here are six of their money-saving tips to help make the trip more affordable for families.</p>
