In the first half of 2020, people all over the world set Guinness World Records.
Some people have broken food-related records, like a woman who ate eight tomatoes in one minute or the company that created a 70-layer dip.
Others push the human body to its limits, like a 62-year-old man who held an 8-hour plank.
There have been record-breaking auctions, too. Kurt Cobain's guitar sold for $6 million, earning the title of the most expensive guitar sold at auction.
Every year, people set out to push the boundaries of the human experience.
Luckily, Guinness World Records is there to make sure it wasn't all for nothing — whether that is paying top dollar for a famous item, playing a musical performance underground, or creating a 70-layer bean dip.
Take a look at some of the wildest and most entertaining world records that have been broken in 2020 so far.
