My family of four tried Panera Bread's four toasted baguette family feast for the first time.
The $40 meal felt like a decent value, especially considering the amount of food that came with it.

I'm a busy mom of two teens who have hectic schedules of their own, so when I learned about Panera Bread's family feast value meals, I immediately wanted to try one.

So, after a particularly long week of my kids having theater performances and my husband and I being busy with work, we skipped cooking dinner and headed to our local Panera on a Friday night to try the chain's four toasted baguette family feast.

Here's what it was like trying it.

First, we chose which four baguettes we wanted from a limited menu.

Of the four baguettes, we all liked the pepperoni-mozzarella variety best.

Although I'm not sure I'd order this meal deal again, it did seem like a great value.
