This time, we went to Hooters.</li><li>We loved our food — especially the boneless wings — and found the portion sizes to be generous.</li></ul><p>It's a tough time to be a <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/chain-restaurants-vs-fast-food-value-wars-2024-4">chain restaurant</a>, especially if you're serving fast food. </p><p><a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/mcdonalds-extends-value-meal-taste-test-2024-7">Fast-food chains are scrambling </a>as they lose the value wars to sit-down spots and worry about retaining current consumers and appealing to <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/mcdonalds-fast-food-companies-have-gen-z-problem-2024-8">future ones</a>. At the same time, <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/fast-food-is-expensive-people-annoyed-eating-out-restaurant-2024">rising fast-food prices</a> seem to only be making sit-down chains look like a way better value. </p><p>Although I was never a big fan of sit-down restaurant chains, I recently began taking my family of four out to eat at them more often in search of good food and great value. </p><p>We've loved our meals at places like <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/review-is-bahama-breeze-worth-it-for-family-2023-5">Bahama Breeze</a> and <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/review-is-mortons-the-steakhouse-worth-it-for-family-2024-9">Morton's</a> and next up on our list was Hooters. </p><p>Here's how our first-ever visit to <a target="_blank" href="https://www.hooters.com">Hooters</a> went.</p>
