Costco has been a staple grocery store for my family for as long as I can remember — but with the rising price of groceries and another baby on the way, my family and I have started visiting Sam's Club.

Both Costco and Sam's Club are about 15 to 20 minutes from our home in Winchester, California, so the distance didn't matter to us. But then we realized Sam's had competitive membership fees and was more affordable in the long run.
