<p class="ingestion featured-caption">Burger King's lineup of chicken wraps are some of the healthiest items on the menu.Erin McDowell/Business Insider</p><ul class="summary-list"><li>McDonald's may relaunch its iconic <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/mcdonalds-chicken-wraps-return-menu-due-to-chicken-demand-2023-12">snack wraps</a> along with new McCrispy chicken tenders.</li><li>Burger King and Wendy's have also introduced chicken wraps, responding to fast-food fan demand.</li></ul><p>Fast-food wraps are having a moment.</p><p>While rumors continue to swirl that McDonald's is preparing to bring back its fan-favorite snack wraps, multiple other fast-food chains have gotten in on the craze.</p><p>In 2023, Burger King launched a new<strong> </strong>line of chicken wraps to compete with Wendy's, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/snack-wraps-back-wendys-mcdonalds-2023-3"><u>which began selling its own</u></a> in March of that year. KFC and Chick-fil-A also sell their own chicken wraps.</p><p>At the time, it was thought that the chains were <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/burger-king-releases-new-chicken-wraps-mcdonalds-fans-2023-8">attempting to win over customers</a> who yearned for the McDonald's snack wraps.</p><p>Introduced in 2006, the McDonald's snack wrap consisted of either crispy or grilled white-meat chicken breast, shredded cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, lettuce, and a choice of ranch, honey mustard, or salsa, wrapped in a soft tortilla.</p><p>The wraps began to be phased out in 2015, much to fans' dismay. In 2020, a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.change.org/p/mcdonalds-bring-back-mcdonald-s-snack-wraps-c0ac23b0-273b-4c02-9177-36f285ef7403"><u>petition</u></a> to bring back McDonald's snack wraps was launched, garnering over 18,000 signatures.</p><p>Now, outlets like <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.foodandwine.com/mcdonalds-snack-wrap-8682616">Food & Wine</a> and <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.delish.com/food-news/a61652690/mcdonalds-might-bring-back-snack-wraps/">Delish</a> are reporting that McDonald's may be prepping to relaunch the iconic snack wrap in anticipation of a new chicken tender rollout, the McCrispy chicken tender.</p><p>"Today, the size of the company's chicken business is on par with beef, as the company continues to aggressively expand through billion-dollar equities including McNuggets, McChicken, McCrispy, and McSpicy," the company said in a statement in December.</p><p>"This includes<strong> </strong>plans to offer McCrispy in nearly all markets<strong> </strong>around the world by the end of 2025 and to expand McCrispy into wraps and tenders," the statement continued.</p><p>Until McDonald's snack wraps are officially back, there are some alternatives. Enter Burger King's Royal Crispy Wraps, which come in four different flavor options.</p><p>All relatively low-calorie — at least compared to some of <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/best-burger-king-cheeseburger-ranked-2024-6">the chain's burgers</a> — and inexpensive, the wraps have earned a permanent spot on Burger King menus.</p><p>Here's every kind of Burger King chicken wrap, ranked from worst to best.</p>
