I tried a popular TikTok hack that's supposed to prevent a cut avocado from turning brown.
The trick involves storing one half of the fruit in a container filled with water for up to 24 hours.
In my experience, the storage method gave the fruit a mushier texture.
That being said, it prolonged the lifespan of my leftover avocado and kept it looking green and tasting fresh.
