Joe Opaleski</p><ul class="summary-list"><li>I wanted to <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/expert-barbecue-tips-for-home-cooks-burgers-chicken-steak-2020-8">host a barbecue</a> for four people, so I went to Aldi with a $50 budget.</li><li><a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/making-burgers-different-methods-grill-air-fryer-oven-best-one">Brats and burgers</a> were our meat options, and I was able to get plenty of fixings.</li></ul><p>It's <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/best-way-to-grill-mistakes-2018-6">grilling season</a> in the Midwest, and Aldi is my go-to grocery store for all the essentials.</p><p>Some of my neighbors are die-hard charcoal lovers, but I <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/guides/home/best-grills">prefer my gas grill</a> for the perfect char, especially for my favorite brand of burgers at Aldi.</p><p>Last week, my fianceé and I hosted two friends for a cookout.
