I made Mary Berry's 'quick and simple' apple cinnamon cake, and the dessert was a hit with my entire family

I made Mary Berry's easy apple and cinnamon loaf cake for a family dinner party.
Berry describes the recipe as "quick and simple," and I couldn't agree more.

I'd consider myself a beginner when it comes to baking.

So last week, when I volunteered to bring dessert to a family dinner party, I knew I had to find a recipe that was simple and easy to follow.

I soon discovered Mary Berry's apple and cinnamon loaf cake recipe, which she describes as "very quick and simple to make" in the recipe description shared by BBC Food. I was excited to try it, especially as I had previously made Berry's apple and almond cake which was delicious.

I started by gathering the ingredients.

I measured out the ingredients and prepared the apples before the baking began.

I then prepared the dry ingredients.

Then it was time to add some of the apples and the eggs.

With the mixture completed, I added the remaining apples.
