Some celebrity chef recipes are better than others.
I joined the Business Insider in December 2020 and have since tried nearly three dozen recipes, including several by celebrities like Martha Stewart and Tabitha Brown.
Here are five of the best celebrity chef recipes I've made over three years, ranked.
5. Emeril Lagasse's flavorful chicken noodle soup uses vermicelli noodles, making it stand out among other recipes.

I tried Lagasse's homemade chicken noodle soup in December 2023, making it the most recent entry on this list.
"Nothing beats chicken noodle soup when you are feeling under the weather," Lagasse's website says.
Although Lagasse's chicken noodle soup takes around two hours and 15 ingredients, the delicious taste makes the wait worth it. The broth was flavorful, the chicken tender and the vermicelli noodles made it the perfect comfort soup.

4. Tabitha Brown's barbecue jackfruit sandwich is a delicious vegan option to traditional pulled pork sandwiches.

You don't have to be vegan to enjoy Tabitha Brown's addicting barbecue jackfruit sandwiches. I tried the nine-ingredient, five-step recipe in June 2022 and am still blown away.
The sandwiches, which take about 25 minutes to make, tasted so similar to traditional pulled pork sandwiches that it shocked me.
"The shredded texture mimicked pulled pork beautifully, and you could probably serve it to someone on a plate without them noticing," I wrote at the time.

3. Martha Stewart's gooey Cinnamon Rolls were one of the first recipes I fell in love with.

I couldn't get through this list without including an all-time favorite of mine: Martha Stewart's cinnamon rolls.
I made them in March 2021 and haven't stopped talking about them yet. Although the recipe is a bit taxing because it uses 13 ingredients and takes more than 13 hours — including refrigeration time — it's always a special treat. Stewart sets her recipe apart from other celebrity chefs by incorporating mashed potatoes into the dough, which helps retain moisture.
"The secret ingredient to pillowy perfection? Adding a russet potato," the 81-year-old chef and lifestyle icon wrote on Instagram in December 2020.

2 . The stuffed bell peppers former royal chef Darren McGrady made for Princess Diana are stunning.

McGrady's stuffed bell peppers are the healthiest recipe on the list. McGrady crafted the 15-ingredient, one-hour recipe while Princess Diana lived at Kensington Palace and wanted a healthier diet.
"I want you to take care of all of the fat. I'll take care of the carbs at the gym," Princess Diana told McGrady, according to HuffPost's Rebecca Adams.
The flavors between the sweet red bell peppers, crispy bacon, and mozzarella cheese were delightful in every sense of the word. I first tried the recipe in March 2022.

1. Marcus Samuelsson's flaky fried chicken uses rosemary to elevate the flavor.
Lauren Edmonds/Business Insider
The Red Rooster founder topped the list for his delectable fried chicken, which I tried in June 2022.
Samnuelsson's fried chicken — with 19 ingredients — is a labor of love. The recipe takes around 10 hours because the chicken is brined for 90 minutes before marinating overnight and being fried the next day. However, the final result is a mouth-watering and deliciously seasoned meal with flavors like hot smoked paprika and rosemary.
The explosive seasoning and juicy chicken are an unstoppable force.
