Everyone at work is there to work. No one is there to pass time with you or entertain you, respect their time. Don’t keep them waiting for anything. Finish the task, or a phone call with them. If you don’t have time at that moment, inform the other person. Don’t keep them hanging in balance.

Stay on the same level and avoid unnecessary office politics. It can be lethal. Treat everyone as equals as no one is working for you, people are there to work for an organisation.

Don’t group up with old ones and welcome the new employees. Be friendly to new joinees and make them comfortable.

You should appreciate your co-workers and congratulate them on their achievements. Don’t sulk and be self-motivated.
