Forbes released its highly anticipated ranking of the world's billionaires today, and of course some of the world's wealthiest people have law degrees.

S. Robson Walton is the richest person with a JD, according to the Forbes ranking, which put his net worth at $26.1 billion.

Walton, who's the oldest son of retail king Sam Walton, attended New York's prestigious Columbia University School of Law. He practiced at Oklahoma law firm Conners & Winters before joining his family's very lucrative business.

S. Robson is one of several Waltons on the ranking.

His sister, Alice Walton, is number 16 with a $26.3 billion net worth, and his younger brother Jim, was number 14 with a net worth of $26.4 billion.
