The UK has banned all Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft from British airspace

The UK's aviation agency has banned all Boeing 737 Max 8 plane from UK airspace, after 157 passengers were killed when the same model operated by Ethiopian Airlines crashed.

The Civil Aviation Agency released a statement on Tuesday which said: "We have, as a precautionary measure, issued instructions to stop any commercial passenger flights from any operator arriving, departing or overflying UK airspace."

On Sunday, Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET302 crashed minutes after taking off from Addis Ababa on its way to Nairobi, Kenya. All 157 passengers died.
