The Time Has Come, Xbox One Debuts In India Tonight

If you’re an avid gamer and you stay in India then the highly anticipated launch date of Xbox One in the country is just around the corner. The latest Xbox gaming console will be available via Amazon in the country and if you pre-ordered the One in the weeks passed by, then chances are you might be the owner of the Xbox One in the coming days. So what’s all the fuss about? After all, it’s just a gaming console right?

Where and when?
Microsoft has joined hands with Amazon to sell the Xbox One in India via the online channel. The console has been listed as ‘available on pre-order’ since last month and will now finally make its India bow. At the stroke of midnight (12 am tonight, i.e. September 23), you’ll be able to buy the One. You'll find it only on Amazon.in

What all do I get?
Much to the curiosity of our reader, we would like to tell them that Xbox One package will come bundled with the Console, Xbox One Wireless controller, Xbox One Chat headset, HDMI cable, 500 GB storage drive, 2 AA batteries and also a 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial card.

How much does it cost?
Not much higher than the Sony Playstation 4, Xbox One comes in two variants that get priced accordingly at; Rs 39,990 for Xbox One with Kinect, while the One variant with Kinect motion system will be selling at Rs 45,990 in the country.

What games can I play?
While the Xbox One gaming list for the Asian market is quite an impressive one but India gets a decent game line up, albiet with some absentees. The games you’ll be able to relish on your Xbox One are; Forza Motosport 5, Forza Horizon 2, Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3, Destiny, and the latest FIFA 2015.
