The new Sixty2's 399cc L-twin engine is almost half in displacement than the current Ducati Scrambler’s, making 41PS of power at 8750rpm and 34.3Nm of torque at 7750rpm. Its larger sibling - the 803cc Ducati Scrambler - makes 75PS of power and 67.7Nm of torque.
Other changes on the Sixty2 include the front fork, which is a traditional set-up compared to the inverted fork on the current Ducati Scrambler. The rear swing arm too, has been switched from the cast aluminum to a steel one on the Sixty2. Braking system consists of two piston floating calipers squeezing a single 320mm rotor.
The Scrambler Sixty2's price in India is likely to be about Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) once it is launched in India early next year.
