The 'kiss' that shocked Sushant Singh Rajput!

Sushant Singh Rajput and Swastika Mukherjee can be seen having a passionate kiss in the trailer of the upcoming flick Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! However, the kiss was no less than a shock for the actor, as per his co-star star Swastika Mukherjee.

Swastika, the Bengali actress who is making her Bollywood debut with this movie, said that the actor had no idea that there would be a kissing scene in the movie, and only she and the director were aware of it.

"Sushant was not aware of the kissing scene in the film. Dibakar had an overall discussion about it with me because there was a possibility of something like that in the scene. Dibakar seriously did not want Sushant to know about it. He was like if it happens then let it happen and obviously Sushant will be taken aback but that's important. He (Sushant) was like really in shock and flabbergasted about what the hell just happened. Then we had our lines and I could see that surprise, that dilemma on face he was completely stiff and stony," Swastika told PTI.

Apparently, the scene demanded a shocked and confused look on the actor’s face and not telling Rajput about the kiss worked in its favour. In an earlier interview, Sushant had stated how Dibakar tricked him into the kissing scene and that he called up his long-time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande and told her about the scene as soon as it happened.

Well, looks like Dibakar Banerjee sure knows how to turn things in his favour.
