The Golden State Warriors already look scary good
The Golden State Warriors opened their preseason Monday night, and it looks like they haven't skipped a beat since their championship.
Not only did they come up with a 95-87 victory over the Raptors, they looked good doing it.
Despite several months off, the Warriors' brand of flashy, pass-happy, net-splashing offense seems to have picked up right where they left off.
At the end of the second quarter, Stephen Curry brought the ball up court, and made a fancy behind-the-back pass to an open Klay Thompson for three. However, Thompson spotted Draymond Green down low, and whipped a pass for what should have been a layup. Instead, Green saw Curry dashing to the corner and hit him for an even more open three-pointer, which for Curry, is the equivalent of a layup.
To top it off, as Curry let it go, he turned to teammate Andre Iguodala on the sidelines, and high-fived him before it even went in.
