Assassin's Creed star Michael Fassbender isn't the only one who gets the chance to travel into the universe of the Spanish Inquisition. Because of a new virtual reality experience from twentieth Century Fox, New Regency, AMD, and Alienware, you can as well.
The experience was unveiled amid AMD's GDC press conference. During the uncover, Matthew Lewis, president of Practical Magic VR and executive of VR experiences, clearly stated that the experience was "not a game."
He said that the VR experience was filmed close by the movie and that shoot areas included Malta, Spain and the United Kingdom.
The experience likewise incorporates an Inquisition scene in which a mob of costumed extras howl around a platform to burn heretics at the stake. It's really a mix of live-activity and PC produced footage, shot in multiple countries.
