It is dream come true for Rohit Khandelwal, who has won the coveted Mr World title, becoming the first Indian ever to win the international title.
The Indian model and TV actor, Rohit, competed with 47 participants from across the globe and was declared Mr. World at a grand ceremony at Southport Theatre, Floral Hall, The Promenade, Southport.
Rohit, who was wearing a tuxedo by Nivedita Saboo, received a cash prize of $50,000.
Rohit, who belongs to Hyderabad and has won numerous titles in the past such as Provogue Personal Care Mr. India World 2015, was trained by who’s who of glamour industry like Sabira Merchant, SupreBedi, Jamuna Pai, Dr Sandesh Mayekar, Bodyholics, etc.
“I still can't believe that I have won the Mr. World title. Being the first Indian ever to win this title internationally makes me immensely proud and ecstatic. It's a dream come true and am very thankful to the Miss India Organization for giving me this opportunity and guiding me throughout my exciting journey. My family, friends and my fans have been a constant support for me and this wouldn't have been possible without the support of my well-wishers," said Rohit after winning.
Pageants like these are won after years of hardwork, determination and sharp focus. The trainings are not easy and one can easily lose confidence.
But, Rohit was at it and it shows in his Instagram photos and the Indian model did not leave any opportunity to train hard and engage with the audience.
During his training days, Rohit was given special Football and Circuit training to increase his endurance and perform the various physical challenges at the pageant.
