The first car from Tesla rival Faraday Future looks like the Batmobile

Secretive electric car startup Faraday Future may have accidentally leaked photos of its much anticipated concept car, which were spotted by Car and Driver. And it looks like the Batmobile.

The potential Tesla rival has been building the suspense to the car's reveal set to take place at the Consumer Electronics Show, which begins Tuesday and runs throughout the week.

But Twitter user @superannuation spotted Faraday Future's iOS app, which was supposed to be released the same time as the car's big reveal. The app has since been taken down from the app store, but App Shopper captured the description if you want to take a look.

The photos include details of the Faraday Future concept car, which states the car has over 1,000 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than three seconds.

The Tesla Model X can reach 60 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds. The Tesla Model S 85D can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.2 seconds and has 417 horsepower.

The Faraday Future photos also claim the car can reach a top speed of 200 miles per hour. All versions of the Tesla Model S reach a top speed between 140 to 155 miles per hour.

The Faraday Future concept car will also come with an autonomous mode, according to the leaked photos. It has a very futuristic design, with a covered glass cabin for the driver and a tail fin to aid in the car's aerodynamacy. It will also come with a new kind of modular battery technology we look forward to learning about.

We'll be at CES this week seeing the Faraday Future concept in person. It's worth noting that the concept car being revealed at CES is not a production vehicle, but is meant to showcase Faraday Future's engineering platform.

We've reached out to Faraday Future about the images and will update when we hear back.
