The FAA Is Investigating A Harlem Shake Video Filmed On A Plane

A group of college students are the subject of a Federal Aviation Administration investigation, after making a video of their version of the Harlem Shake dance on Frontier Airlines flight.

The FAA said Thursday it is concerned that safety regulations may not have been followed, as the dance may have taken place before the plane was at a safe altitude, according to USA Today.

The shaky quality of the video does not help, though that may be the fault of the cameraman.

The students are players on Colorado College's Wasabi ultimate Frisbee team. Captain Dan Eppstein told the LA Times the team asked a flight attendant for permission before beginning the dance, and that "everyone who was on that flight joined in."

Based on the short video, he may be right. It's clear that the man in the blue shirt, in the foreground of the video, got pretty into it.
