We recently had a word with Rahul Singh, Founder & CEO, The Beer Café to ask about the new mobile apps they have launched. The concept of his restaurant is nice to lure enough customers. So what made him develop an app for the business? This is why.

Tell us the story behind launching these apps?
We wanted to reach out to our customers directly keeping them up to date with all upcoming events or promotions. The App helps the customer’s access all the information and the latest offers that are running in The Beer Café. They can also have an easy access to all the photos and the menu. This helps the customers to stay connected and updated with the café at all times. We also have a loyalty program, the idea of which is to increase repeat visits to our café’s.

What benefits do the consumers get when they use these apps?
There are a lot of benefits that the consumers get when they use the App. The consumers can easily browse the menu, photos, upcoming events and promotions. This App is a great way of keeping the customers updated and connected with the café. There are also special offers for the loyal customers. Also, the user interface is very clean and simple with graphics that would tempt you to head on over for a chilled mug.

Which operating systems is the app currently available on?
The App is available on Android and iOS operating systems, and is free to download.

Do you think these apps will enable you to get more customers? If so, then how much increase are you expecting (percentage wise)?
The app has already done 500 downloads and will definitely enable us to get more customers. The loyalty program will be the biggest attraction. So the focus is also on retaining the current client base and encouraging them to visit again (and again). Since, the app has just been launched we are still trying to gauge the response. We expect at least 15% gain in customers with it.
