We're not sure why the Apple store is down, but it is.

Apple usually closes its online store when it's adding new hardware. The speculation is that the iMac will get a light upgrade.
It's weird Apple has to "close" the store just to update it, right?
While we're were here, it's also weird that Apple's online store still uses old design cues. The linen background, for instance, is so iOS 6.
