A new report from Universum took those career goals and asked 110,834 business students which companies they would want to work for once they graduate. In order for company to make it onto the list they had to tie in with two key aspects of student aspirations, their career goals and their brand perception.

“This year companies like Amazon, Adidas and Boston Consulting Group demonstrate that by focusing on the employer value proposition and getting the message out to university students, an organisation that transform its ability to recruit top talent,” says Petter Nylander, the CEO of Universum.

At the top of the list is Google, the silicon valley tech giant that’s been making waves all over the world. It’s interesting to note that despite being a technology company, it’s the most preferred place to work for business students.

Because, the other four companies in the top 5 - Goldman Sachs, Ernst & Young, Deloitte and KPMG - are all management and consultancy firms.
